How to avoid opening the reference specification box with the command "RF="

Often it may be convenient to attach a file as a reference using the keyboard command "RF=..." (when using a script for example).

After confirming this command, the "Reference attachment properties" dialog box will be displayed.

How can we avoid this?

Simply by adding after the filename 4 commas followed by a ‘#

What do these "virgulates" mean?

These are simply complementary parameters for refining the attachment of the reference:

  1. The name of the model to be attached if it is not the default model;
  2. The logical (single) name to assign to attachment
  3. Free description
  4. The name of the view:
    • * : means attachment coincide
    • # : means World coincide
  5. The scale factor to be applied to attachment
  6. The depth of interlocking
  7. An ON or OFF value to indicate whether or not the reference should be displayed

In this case, the parameter we are interested in is the 4th (diasis: #). That's why we put 4 commas without specifying anything about the first 3 of them.

Parameters 5 to 7 should not be mentioned here.
