How to apply a degraded color to a closed shape
Background
How to apply a degraded color to a closed shape or circle using darker colors on the edges and lighter towards the center.
Steps to follow
1. Place a closed shape (as required).
2. In the Placement dialog box, make sure that the Type of filling is defined on Opaque. Now, from the Filling colour, select icon Degraded.
3. In the dialog box Degraded, click the color boxes (marked by 2 and 3) one by one and select the required color.
4. In the section Degraded dialog box, set Type on Spherical.
We will see that color changes are reflected in shape.
Note :
If an alternative requirement is required, i.e. darker in the centre and lighter towards the edges, the option Reverse must be checked:
