Why the OpenBuildings Designer application window does not display correctly and how to fix it

Problem

The application window OpenBuildings Designer opens in half of the monitor screen. Although the tape bar stretches across the entire screen. View or screen resolution did not help solve the problem.

Solution

Application windows OpenBuildings Designer may sometimes not appear with the maximum height to width ratio.

To solve this problem, go to the window dialog Settings and search _USTN_HOMEPREFS

Then access the assigned location in your Windows file explorer and delete/rename the named folder 10.0.0 (you can rename the folder as 10.0.0-Old or 10.0.0-temp )

After that, restart OpenBuildings Designer and check that the application window is now displayed normally.
