Tool Specification Box
Hello, my tool specification box has disappeared from my windows. No way to get it back. According to the help, just push the F10 key. When I do I have a message "VBA interface error: impossible to run the macro". Has anyone ever had this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hello, Bernard.
There are usually several possibilities:
- The window is on another screen or at least at a position outside the screen area. This sometimes happens if the number of screens has decreased (case of the laptop to which you sometimes connect a second screen). In this case, in V8i go to the "Window" menu and at the bottom of the menu click on the title ending with "(Tool specification)" In CONNECT Edition, click on a tool at random, then in the lower right corner of the application click with the left button on the icon representing a small house: a window then opens with the list of windows of the application. You should find the name of the clicked command (which is the title of the tool specification box). Just select it and then click [OK].
- Popset is active and the specification box disappears after a few seconds: if so, CTRL+Space will display the specification box at the mouse position. To disable Popset, you must find an icon representing a green (active) circle, a barred (inactive) red circle.
- The window was accidentally anchored to a edge of the screen. Simply remove it from this area
I hope this can help you.
Have a good day!
Philippe
