CHALLENGE - How to make a copy/paste by specifying a particular origin?

Often it is useful to select a set of elements to make a copy with the functions "Copy" (CTRL+C) and "Coller" (CTRL+V).
This works very well but how can I specify the point of connection of this set of elements accurately? By default, it is located in the geometric center of all the selected elements and therefore in a non-controllable position.
