MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 11 is available!
Here are some of the new major improvements available in update 11 of the MicroStation CONNECT Edition :
- Configuration Assistant to convert pre-CONNECT Edition for use with CONNECT Edition)
- CONNECT license allowing more flexibility and control over the use of your license --> there will therefore be an opportunity to be warned before the famous "overuse" that everyone fears!
- Perforators can be used to cut target elements according to their profile: beautiful function for the 3D
- Named presentations allow items to be displayed differently according to the viewing directions.
- iModel 2.0 Publishing Now Supported: The Base for Operating with the Great iModel. js
- Bentley View CONNECT Edition to be released: a new version of the famous viewer Bentley had strangely removed from his catalogue

To complete my information on the second point (the one concerning the license activation control) this slide (sorry, it is in English) at the end of the video seems to me to sum up the situation:
The second point and the image below clearly indicate that the administrator can set a threshold that when reached warns users of a risk of over-use... I believe that this point has been expected by administrators for many years.
