How to display the task browser ribbon bar in CONNECT Edition versions
Problem
In MicroStation or AECOSim V8i, all tasks appear by default on the left side of the screen.
But in the CONNECT Edition generation, tasks do not display by default.
Solution
To allow a task display in CONNECT Edition products, the following variable should be checked:
MS_HIDETASKNAVIGATIONWORKFLOW
If it has a different value, change it to « 0 ». Then you have to save by leaving the configuration variable setting box.
After that, you can access the "Dialogue" option at the top left of the screen (just next to the workflow list).
You will then get a task display similar to the one you knew in the V8i generation of Bentley Systems products.
