Bentley offers a variety of license options tailored to your business needs and usage.
Perpetual licences
Principle : You buy the license once and for all, it belongs to you permanently.
Benefits : Long-term investment, interesting if you plan to use the software for several years.
These licences are usually accompanied by the annual "SELECT" maintenance contract:
- Assistance 24/7.
- License sharing between multiple users (floating license).
- Access to updates and support.
12 month subscription licences
Principle Annual subscription, renewable each year.
Benefits : Less expensive at the start than the perpetual license; you automatically get updates and support.
Cloud Service Subscription
Subscription to cloud service is a fund that you set up and can cover all of your software needs based on an annual needs estimate. Every month or quarter, Bentley calculates the number of licenses you used for each application and debits your CSS funds accordingly.
The flexibility offered by this system is unparalleled. Even better, if your project requirements change, you can choose a different software or add additional users without having to order new licenses: most Bentley applications can be used in CSS.
