Solution

Soft Clearance ("Smooth disengagement" specify an additional distance that will be added between two or more components during the collision detection process. Any value added in the field Soft Clearance is then applied to the elements of the applicable set(s).

NOTE: If a high value is applied to one or the other of the sets, the elements can be reported as conflicts even if their geometry is not really in conflict. Therefore, precautions should be taken when using this parameter to ensure that conflict results are not manifestly inaccurate.
