What type of camera is recommended for use with iTwin Capture Modeler?

iTwin Capture Modeler supports a wide range of cameras: smartphone, digital compacts, digital reflexes, fisheye, photogrammetrics and multiple cameras.

It can process photographs or extract video images (frames) from digital camcorders.

However, it does not support pushbroom linear cameras.

Nor does it support fast-moving shutter cameras.

Although iTwin Capture Modeler does not require a minimum resolution of the camera, a higher resolution camera allows the acquisition of a subject to obtain a given accuracy with fewer photographs and thus faster than a lower resolution camera.
