With the introduction of the new ribbon interface in MicroStation CONNECT Edition, it is sometimes difficult to find or remember where some tools are.

Searching in the ribbon is a simple way to find tools or dialogues on multiple tabs and workflows of the ribbon.

First, find the search field located in the top right corner of the interfaceMicroStation. Then enter the partial or full name of the tool or dialog box. You will then get a list of results with the first name in a window below the Search field.

Moving the mouse pointer over one of the listed tools gives you more details about the tool. This will tell you where to find the tool in the ribbon. You can also start any tool by clicking on the proposals made.
