How to find « Tasks » in MicroStation CONNECT Edition
Some of you are disturbed by the new interface of MicroStation CONNECT Edition !
It is always possible to force MicroStation CONNECT Edition to present the tools in the form of tasks as existed in the generation V8i product.
In MicroStation CONNECT Edition Update 13 et seq.
The steps to reappear are:
- Select the workflow "Navigation in Tasks“;
- Click on the icon to the right of the feed selector, and choose "Task Theme V8i“
In MicroStation CONNECT Edition prior to Update 13
Steps to reappear the tasks:
- Go to the tab File, then: Specifications -> Configuration -> Configuration Variables
- Click on the button [New...]
- Enter the field « Variable » : MS_TASKNAVIGATION_CONFIGURATION
- Enter the field « New value » : 1
- click on the button [OK]
- Then close MicroStation CONNECT Edition and restart it.
- Go back to the tab File, then: Specifications -> User -> Choice
- From the list of categories, select Task navigation
- Select option Dialog in the list Introduction
- Then click the button [OK] : Tasks are now visible on the left side of the screen
