Problem

Some users like to customize their environment. This is very practical because it is thus possible to group in a workflow or tab the most commonly used tools for example. Sometimes, when reset default settings, if the preferences folder is accidentally deleted or if the software requires a re-installation, these custom toolbars can be lost.

Steps to follow

To store these items in advance, you need to store some files from the existing pref folder (which is usually in the C:Users path)User.AppDataLocalBentleyOpenBuildingsDesigner10.0.0prefs).

Additional note : This method can also be used to communicate your customization to a colleague (attention if he or she has a customization) or possibly copy it to share it in case of network configuration.
